How to Participate

 

"ZEN ART FESTIVAL"

International Festival of Symbolic Art


There are three forms of participation:

1) Personal partiсipation: you visit Moscow and bring artwork in person.
2) Artwork partiсipation: you ship artwork, we exhibit
3) Art print participation: you send file, we print and exhibit

Participants of all these forms have equal rights at participating in the competition.


 

Registration deadline: until June 16, 2020 (inclusive).

Exhibition dates: June 24-30, 2020, working hours: 11.00-19.00
Vernissage: June 24, 2020, 18.00. Winners Announcement and Diplomas delivery: June 30, 2020, 16.00

Age restrictions:
Authors over 18 years old are eligible to participate in the Zen Art International Festival.

REGISTRATION MATERIALS / HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE EXHIBITION::

To register, you need to send the following material by e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.:
1) Application form (download in Word, PDF)
2) Labels for each art object (download in Word, PDF);
3) Photograph of the author (at least 3x4 cm in size);
4) Photographs of competitive works (not less than 200 dpi, not more than 20 Mb / each; Image files of your works must be in JPG format);
 
After the author has sent registration materials to the Organizing Committee, he receives the following notifications:
1) the application is reviewed by expert council and allowed for exposure;
2) if the work is admitted to the exhibition, the author pays the entry fee within 3 days and sends a receipt for payment or a screenshot.
The size of registration fees and payment methods are given in the sections:
     а) "Cost of participation / registration fee"; 
     b) "How to pay the registration fee"

After the organizing committee receives a copy / screenshot of the payment of the entry fee, we send to author an official notification of the enrollment of the work to the exhibition, with the assigned "Participant Number".

The number of entries for one authors is not regulated. It is possible to submit a series of works, in this case the series will be considered as one competitive work but the payment of the registration fee has to be done for each individual object or canvas or file.

The works presented at the exhibition can be in one of the following sections:

SPECIFICATIONS:

The exhibition accepts two- and three-dimensional works.
The size of two-dimensional work cannot exceed 75 x 85 inches (192 x 218 centimeters).
The size of three-dimensional work (i.e., sculpture) cannot exceed 72 x 72 x 24 inches (184 x 184 x 61 centimeters).
An additional coefficient has been introduced for flat works: with a canvas size of more than 90 cm and up to 140 cm on the largest side an additional payment of 50% of the cost is charged. Subsequently, the calculation is made for each additional 50 cm.
 
PROFESSIONAL CATEGORIES:
 
Any person over 18 years of age who creates works of art in one of the indicated artistic styles (project nomination) has the right to participate in the exhibition, after approval by the organizing committee of the works submitted to the competition.
 
SUPPLEMENTARY AGREEMENT

Artists participating in the exhibition are responsible for the costs associated with the delivery of works to the site and for insurance of works of art while it is in transit.
We also ask you to read the "General Regulations", which regulates the relationship between authors, exhibition organizers and expert council.
