Rhino Dream – I liked the playfulness of this art. Do animals dream?. I believe they do. The line drawing was well done. Della Burford (Canada). This drawing/painting of the rhino is very interesting. The technique is superb, but I love the idea of the rhino perhaps daydreaming about flight. We grow as we walk the path to the center. Each one has a unique journey. This made me think of the labyrinth journeys that many people go on that represent the various paths they go on in life. All genders, ages, cultures are wearing the masks for protection but within this is still some with the face of fear. To me, this is what is portrayed. In meditation to go into how we can go beyond the fear and find the Dance is what on Tibetan lamas is teaching. A painting that makes you think is to be acknowledged. Spiritual Hug – So many good feelings in this artist's work. Don’t we all want that spiritual hug when we go on our meditative journey? I enjoyed the colors and textures used. Della Burford (Canada). The use of color and space is what attracts me right away. The surreal dreamlike quality is almost a transcendental bridge between the subconscious and conscious. This colorful painting of plants and butterflies is a first glance beautiful. The colors and rendering are well-done and the composition is pleasing. Then you notice the face on the wings of the left butterfly. This is fun step beyond the eyespots present normally in this genus of Lepidoptera. The face on the second butterfly is less obvious, but after seeing the first one, I had to look, and was not disappointed! Love this painting. Joe A. MacGown (USA). This digital piece looks as though it were done using traditional media and challenges the viewer to accept that it is actually digital.
